## Biography

George Strayton is a writer whose credits include episodes of the television series *Xena: Warrior Princess* (1995) and *Hercules: The Legendary Journeys* (1995). He contributed as a staff writer and provided the teleplay for the *Xena* episode 'Lifeblood'.

Earlier in his career Strayton worked in role-playing games, writing and editing projects for West End Games including *Star Wars*, *Men in Black* and *Hercules & Xena* tie-ins. He later served as Director of Marketing at Renaissance Pictures and wrote the screenplay for the animated film *Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight* (2008).

Subsequent television work includes writing and producing on *Mech-X4* (2016–2018) and *October Faction* (2020). He is an alumnus of the Film Division of Columbia University’s School of the Arts and son-in-law of screenwriter David Shaber.
