Georges Asselin was a French cinematographer active from the 1920s to the early 1940s. He worked as director of photography or camera operator on around fifty French films and some co-productions.

His credits include *L'Agonie des aigles* (1922), *La Nuit du carrefour* (1932), *Boudu Saved from Drowning* (1932), *Les Deux Gamines* (1936) and *Les Chevaliers de la cloche* (1938). He collaborated with directors including Jean Renoir and Julien Duvivier.
