## Biography

Georges Benayoun is a French film and television producer. Born on 4 August 1955, he co-founded IMA Films and IMA Production with Paul Rozenberg (sometimes credited as Rosenberg) and presided over the companies until 2001. He has produced approximately 40 feature films.

His credits include *Wild Reeds* (1994, also known as *Les Roseaux sauvages*), *The Apartment* (1996), *Irma Vep* (1996), *Nenette and Boni* (1997), *Cold Water* (1994), *Late August, Early September* (1999), *Trouble Every Day* (2001) and *Wicker Park* (2004) as executive producer. He received a César Award for Best Film in 1995 for *Wild Reeds*. Benayoun has also directed and written documentaries for France Télévisions.
