## Biography

Gerald Sanford is an American television writer and producer. He began his screenwriting career in 1963 with the series *Dr. Kildare* and went on to write episodes of numerous series including *Night Gallery*, *The F.B.I.*, *Barnaby Jones*, *Kung Fu*, *CHiPs*, *T. J. Hooker* and *Knight Rider*.

Sanford contributed the story, co-written with Michael Piller, for the *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* episode 'A Man Alone' (1993). He also worked as a producer on series such as *Knight Rider* and *A Man Called Sloane*.
