## Biography

Gillian Hills (born 5 June 1944) is a British actress and singer. Born in Cairo, Egypt, she was discovered in France as a teenager by Roger Vadim and made her film debut in *Les Liaisons dangereuses* (1959). She took the lead role in the British film *Beat Girl* (1960), also released as *Wild for Kicks*.

Hills appeared as The Brunette in Michelangelo Antonioni's *Blow-Up* (1966). Her other screen credits include *A Clockwork Orange* (1971) as Sonietta and *Demons of the Mind* (1972) as Elizabeth. She also had a singing career in France in the 1960s before retiring from acting in the early 1970s and working as a book and magazine illustrator.
