Gilman Rankin (17 April 1911 – 31 October 1993) was an American film and television actor. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he began his screen career in 1949 with uncredited roles in films including *Bride of Vengeance* and *The Story of Seabiscuit*.

He appeared in numerous Western television series, notably as Deputy Charlie Riggs in the first season of *Tombstone Territory* (1957). Rankin guest-starred in programmes such as *Gunsmoke*, *Perry Mason*, *The Untouchables* and *The Waltons*, and played supporting parts in films including *Midnight Cowboy* (1969, as Woodsy Niles), *Black Patch* (1957) and *Assault on Precinct 13* (1976, as Bus Driver). He retired from acting in 1976.
