Gina Gallego is an American actress born in Los Angeles, California. She began her career in the late 1970s with film and television roles, including a debut in *The Champ* (1979) and a regular part in the primetime soap *Flamingo Road* (1981–1982).

Gallego had regular roles in daytime soaps such as *Rituals* (1984–1985), *Santa Barbara* (1985–1989) and *Generations* (1990). Her film credits include *Erin Brockovich* (2000) as Ms. Sanchez, *Minority Report* (2002), *Mr. Deeds* (2002) and *Anger Management* (2003). She has also appeared in series including *Grey's Anatomy*, *Shameless*, *NCIS* and *Station 19*.

From 2015 to 2019 she played Mrs. Hernandez in the CW series *Crazy Ex-Girlfriend*. She is married to actor and producer Joel Bailey.
