Giordano Gederlini is a screenwriter and director. He was born on 10 February 1971 in Chile and is French.

He co-wrote the screenplay for *Les Misérables* (2019) with Ladj Ly and Alexis Manenti. The film, directed by Ly, premiered in competition at Cannes, won the Jury Prize there and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film, as well as for a César Award for Best Original Screenplay.

Gederlini's other screenwriting credits include *Mothers' Instinct* (2018), *Above the Law* (2017), *Les Indésirables* (2023) and *Largo Winch: The Price of Money* (2024). He has also directed films such as *On the Edge* (2022) and *Entre la vie et la mort* (2022).
