## Biography

Gittan Gustafsson was a Swedish production designer and scenograf. She was born on 9 November 1924 in Örebro and died in 2003 in Stockholm.

Gustafsson worked as production designer on Ingmar Bergman’s *Dreams* (1955) and *Wild Strawberries* (1957). She received art director credits on *Möten i skymningen* (1957) and *Lek på regnbågen* (1958), and later production design credits under the name Birgitta Morales, including on *Benjamin* (1960). Earlier in her career she appeared uncredited as an actress and assistant art director on *Maria* (1947).
