Giulietta Masina (also credited as Giulia Anna Masina) was an Italian actress. She was born on 22 February 1921 in San Giorgio di Piano, Italy, and died on 23 March 1994 in Rome.

Masina began her career in radio and on stage before appearing in films, including an uncredited role in *Paisan* (1946). She is best known for her performances in Federico Fellini's *La Strada* (1954) as Gelsomina and *Nights of Cabiria* (1957) as Cabiria, the latter earning her the Best Actress award at the 1957 Cannes Film Festival. She also appeared as Passerotto in Roberto Rossellini's *Europa '51* (1952), in *Variety Lights* (1950), *The White Sheik* (1952) and *Ginger and Fred* (1986).

Masina was married to director Federico Fellini from 1943 until his death in 1993.
