## Biography

Giuseppe Bonifati is an Italian actor, director, playwright and poet. Born in 1985 in Castrovillari, Calabria, he trained at the Civic School of Dramatic Art "Paolo Grassi", the National Academy of Dramatic Arts "Silvio D'Amico" and the International Theatre Workshops of the Venice Biennale. From 2010 to 2020 he was director in residence at Odin Teatret in Denmark. He has been artistic director of the DOO performing arts collective since 2010 and founded Det Flyvende Teater in Denmark in 2021.

In film, Bonifati played Giovanni Iacovoni in Ridley Scott's *All the Money in the World* (2017) and Giacomo Cuoghi in Michael Mann's *Ferrari* (2023). His television credits include the BBC miniseries *Us* (2020), in which he appeared as an Italian receptionist, and the role of Brother Elias in *Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints* (2025). He has received the Crystal Microphone "Umberto Benedetto" award from RAI (2006) and the National Dramaturgy Award "Alessandro Fersen" (2011).
