## Biography

Glen Whitman is an American television writer and professor of economics at California State University, Northridge, where he has taught since 2000. He holds a PhD in economics from New York University.

Whitman began working in television as a science advisor on the series *Fringe* (2008) with his writing partner Robert Chiappetta. He later served as executive story editor and contributed multiple scripts to the show. He has also written episodes for *Matador* (2014), *The Strain* (2014), *The Blacklist: Redemption* (2017), *Debris* (2021) and *The Lost Symbol* (2021).
