## Biography

Glen Winter is a Canadian television director, cinematographer and producer. He began his career in the camera department in the mid-1990s and worked as a camera operator on several films and television productions before becoming a cinematographer.

Winter had a long association with the series *Smallville* (2001–2011), serving first as second-unit director of photography and then as series cinematographer on 92 episodes. He also directed 12 episodes of the show. He later directed multiple episodes of Arrowverse series including *Arrow* (2012), *The Flash* (2014), *Supergirl* (2015, including the pilot) and others such as *DC's Legends of Tomorrow* and *Titans*.

His cinematography has been recognised with awards and nominations from the American Society of Cinematographers and the Canadian Society of Cinematographers.
