## Biography

Glenn Farr was an American film and television editor. He worked on feature films from the 1970s onwards and received an Academy Award for Best Film Editing, shared with four colleagues, for *The Right Stuff* (1983).

His other editing credits include *Fatso* (1980), *Runaway* (1984), *Commando* (1985), *Nothing in Common* (1986), *The Serpent and the Rainbow* (1988), *Career Opportunities* (1991), *Akeelah and the Bee* (2006) and *Brokedown Palace* (1999, additional editing). On television he edited more than thirty episodes of *The Mentalist* (2008–2012) as well as episodes of *Rome*, *Nashville* and *Wayward Pines*.

Farr died on 25 May 2023.
