## Biography

Gloria Gresham is an American costume designer. She studied theatre at Indiana University and began working in film in the late 1970s, with credits as costume coordinator on *The Wiz* (1978) and assistant on *The Brink's Job* (1978). Her first feature as costume designer was *Urban Cowboy* (1980).

She is credited with costume design on *Misery* (1990) and *A Few Good Men* (1992), and worked on numerous other films including *When Harry Met Sally...* (1989), *Ghostbusters II* (1989), *Avalon* (1990), *Last Action Hero* (1993) and *Sleepers* (1996). Her career as a costume designer spanned until 2006.

Gresham received an Academy Award nomination for best costume design for *Avalon* (1990). She was married to producer C. O. Erickson from 1987 until his death in 2017.
