## Biography

Gordon Rayfield is an American television writer. He contributed to the NBC series *Law & Order*, writing the third-season episode 'Skin Deep' and providing the story and teleplay for the fourth-season episode 'Profile'.

Rayfield has worked extensively in daytime television. He served as head writer on *All My Children* (2002–2003), associate head writer on *Another World* (1998–1999) and *Days of Our Lives* (2006–2008), and in writing roles on *As the World Turns* (2008–2010) and *One Life to Live*. He also wrote episodes of *CBS Schoolbreak Special* and the teleplay for the 2002 television film *Our America*.

Rayfield has received Writers Guild of America Awards for his work on *All My Children* (2004) and *As the World Turns* (2011), as well as a WGA Award for a children's script. He has earned multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations for drama series writing.
