## Biography

Gordon Reid was a Scottish actor. He trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, graduating in 1962 with the silver medal for acting.

Reid appeared in the films *Leon the Pig Farmer* (1992), *Mansfield Park* (1999) as Dr Winthrop and *The Others* (2001) as Assistant. His television credits included Phillips in *Doctor Who* (1974), Rychards in *Lovejoy* (1992), and a recurring role as Angus Livingstone in *Doctor Finlay* (1993–1996).

He died in London in 2003.
