## Biography

Gordon Westcott (born Myrthus Hansen Hickman) was an American film actor. He studied architecture at the University of Chicago and appeared on stage in New York, Utah and California before entering films.

A Warner Bros contract player, he appeared in 37 films between 1928 and 1935, including *Footlight Parade* (1933) as Harry Thompson, *Love Me Tonight* (1932), *Heroes for Sale* (1933), *The World Changes* (1933) and *Fashions of 1934* (1934). He died on 30 October 1935 in Hollywood, California, from injuries sustained in a polo accident.
