## Biography

Graeme Curry was a British writer. He wrote the 1988 *Doctor Who* serial *The Happiness Patrol*, which he also novelised, and contributed episodes to *The Bill* (1988) and *EastEnders* (1989). He wrote for the Radio 4 serial *Citizens* and adapted his play *Over the Moon* for radio.

Born in Padstow, Cornwall, Curry attended Dauntsey’s School in Wiltshire and read English at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, on a choral scholarship. He won the Cosmopolitan Young Journalist of the Year award in 1982. He also worked as a professional singer specialising in early music and appeared uncredited as a tourist in the *Doctor Who* story *Silver Nemesis* (1988). He died in 2019.
