## Biography

Graham Frake is a British cinematographer. He studied at Harrow School of Photography and worked as a photojournalist before joining the BBC Television Film Unit at Ealing in 1976. He later transferred to the BBC Bristol Film Unit and became a member of the British Society of Cinematographers.

His credits include director of photography on episodes of *Doctor Who* (2010), *Downton Abbey* (2013–2015), *Lost Christmas* (2011) and *The Life of Mammals* (2002), as well as second unit work on *Hornblower: The Even Chance* (1998). He was part of the BAFTA-winning camera team for *The Trials of Life* (1990) and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for *Downton Abbey*.
