Graham Kennedy was an Australian entertainer, comedian, television host and actor. Born in Melbourne in 1934, he became known as 'The King of Television' for hosting long-running variety programmes including *In Melbourne Tonight* from 1957 and *Blankety Blanks*.

He appeared in several Australian films, including *Don's Party* (1976), *The Odd Angry Shot* (1979) and *The Club* (1980). His international screen credit was as Dougal in the 1984 drama *The Killing Fields*. Kennedy received the Order of Australia and multiple Logie Awards. He died in Bowral, New South Wales, in 2005.
