## Biography

Graham Seed is an English actor born on 12 July 1950 in London. He was educated at Charterhouse School and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

He is best known for playing Nigel Pargetter in the BBC Radio 4 series *The Archers* from 1983 until 2011. His television credits include roles in *I, Claudius* (1976), *Brideshead Revisited* (1981), *'Allo 'Allo!* (1984), *Jeeves and Wooster* (1990), *Band of Brothers* (2001), *Midsomer Murders* and *The Durrells* (2016) as Mr. Trevitt. Film appearances include *Gandhi* (1982) and *Wild Target* (2010). He has also appeared in several British soap operas, including *Brookside*, *Coronation Street* and *Crossroads*.

Seed has been married to Denise Silvey since 2013.
