## Biography

Grant Geissman is an American jazz guitarist and composer. Born on 13 April 1953 in Berkeley, California, he has released sixteen solo albums and is noted for his session work, including the electric guitar solo on Chuck Mangione’s 1977 hit “Feels So Good”.

Geissman co-wrote the underscore for all twelve seasons of the CBS sitcom *Two and a Half Men* (2003–2015) with Dennis C. Brown and co-wrote its theme song, which received a Primetime Emmy nomination in 2004. He composed for all six seasons of *Mike & Molly* (2010–2016) and the first season of *B Positive* (2020–2021), and has contributed music to other series including *The Big Bang Theory* and *Mom*. He also played the acoustic guitar solo on the theme for *Monk*.

In addition to his recording and television work, Geissman has written and designed five books on EC Comics and MAD Magazine, one of which was Eisner Award-nominated.
