## Biography

Grant Williams (born John Joseph Williams) was an American actor and operatic tenor. He made his film debut in 1956 as Biff Miley in *Written on the Wind*.

He is best known for playing Scott Carey in *The Incredible Shrinking Man* (1957). Williams also starred as Greg MacKenzie in the television series *Hawaiian Eye* (1959–1963) and appeared in films including *The Monolith Monsters* (1957) and *The Leech Woman* (1960), as well as episodes of *Perry Mason*, *Gunsmoke* and *The Outer Limits*.
