## Biography

Greg Colton, also credited as Gregory A Colton, is an American animation director. Born on 22 October 1976 in Chicago, Illinois, he graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1998 with a degree in film and video production, emphasising animation.

Colton began his career in animation as a storyboard artist, layout artist and writer on series including *The Powerpuff Girls* (1998), *Invader ZIM*, *¡Mucha Lucha!* and *Dilbert*. He joined *Family Guy* (1999) in storyboard and assistant director roles before becoming a director in 2005. He has directed dozens of episodes of the series, including several in the "Road to..." sequence, as well as all 36 episodes of *Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy* (2008–2010). In 2010 he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation for his storyboard work on the *Family Guy* episode "Road to the Multiverse".
