Gregg Edelman is an American actor known for his work in theatre, film and television. Born on 12 September 1958 in Chicago, Illinois, he trained at Northwestern University and made his Broadway debut in the 1979 production of *Evita*.

He received Tony Award nominations for his performances in *City of Angels* (1990), *Anna Karenina* (1993), *1776* (1998) and *Into the Woods* (2002). Other Broadway credits include the 1987 revival of *Cabaret*, *Passion*, *Les Misérables* and *Water for Elephants* (2024).

Edelman's film roles include *Crimes and Misdemeanors* (1989), *Spider-Man 2* (2004), *Little Children* (2006) as Richard Pierce, *The Proposal* (2009) and *She Said* (2022). He has appeared in television series such as *The Sinner*, *Evil* and *Billions*. He was married to actress Carolee Carmello from 1995 to 2015.
