## Biography

Groove Myers (also credited as Groove X and Charles Wain) was an Australian composer and musician. He provided the electronic score for Peter Weir's *The Last Wave* (1977), on which he is also credited as music engineer, producer and synthesiser musician.

Myers composed the score for *A Dangerous Summer* (1982) under the name Groove X. His work also features on the soundtrack of *In My Father's Den* (2004). He was born on 20 August 1944 and died on 11 April 2016 in Springwood, New South Wales.
