## Biography

Gus Rose (1933–2002) was an American actor who appeared in documentary films and television programmes as himself. A former homicide detective with the Dallas Police Department, he featured in Errol Morris’s *The Thin Blue Line* (1988) discussing the investigation of a police murder.

Rose also appeared as himself in two episodes of the television mini-series *The Men Who Killed Kennedy* (1991), credited as Self – Dallas Police.
