## Biography

Guy Godfree is a Canadian cinematographer. Originally from Pugwash, Nova Scotia, he is a graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory.

He served as cinematographer on the Netflix limited series *Maid* (2021), shooting five episodes. His feature credits include *Maudie* (2016), for which he received the 2017 Canadian Society of Cinematographers award for feature film cinematography, *Let Him Go* (2020), *Giant Little Ones* (2019), *Buffaloed* (2020), *Wildhood* (2022) and *Sharp Corner* (2025). In 2025 he won the Best Atlantic Cinematography award at the Atlantic International Film Festival for *At the Place of Ghosts*.
