Guy Verney (1915–1970) was a British television director and actor. Born in Fulham, London, he began his career as an actor with roles in films including *This Happy Breed* (1944).

He directed extensively for British television, including 29 episodes of *Armchair Theatre* (1957–1970), six episodes of *Public Eye* (1965–1969), one episode of *The Avengers* (1961), and episodes of *Redcap* and *Special Branch*.

Verney died in Hampton Wick, Surrey, in September 1970.
