## Biography

Gwendolyn Logan (born Gwendolen Beatrice Nora Logan) was a British-born American actress and screenwriter. She was born on 30 December 1881 in Bellary, British India, and died on 26 October 1967 in Los Angeles, California.

Logan co-wrote the 1916 British film *East Is East* and the 1920 American film *A Tokyo Siren*. Her acting career included supporting and uncredited roles in Hollywood productions from the late 1920s onwards, such as the Duchess of Glastonbury in *Disraeli* (1929), Mrs. Fenwick in *Once a Lady* (1931), Mrs. Stubbs in *Pride and Prejudice* (1940), and Mrs. Courtland in *Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde* (1941).

She was married twice: first to screenwriter Philip Hubbard, from whom she was divorced in 1921, and then in 1924 to writer Conrad Seiler.
