## Biography

Gwyneth Strong is an English actress. She is known for playing Cassandra Trotter (née Parry) in the BBC sitcom *Only Fools and Horses* (1989–2003).

Strong began acting as a child, appearing in the Royal Court Theatre production *Live Like Pigs* and the film *Nothing But the Night* (1973). She later had a regular role as Jan Carter in the children's series *The Flockton Flyer* (1977–1979). Her other television work includes appearances in *EastEnders* (2016) as Geraldine Clough, *Casualty*, *A Touch of Frost* and *The Bill*. She is married to actor Jesse Birdsall.
