## Biography

Hala Bahmet is an American costume designer. She began her career while a student at St Catherine University in St Paul, Minnesota, working at the Guthrie Theater and as an intern in the costume department at Paisley Park Studios for Prince.

Bahmet has designed costumes for numerous films and television series. Her credits include *House of Sand and Fog* (2003), *The Purge: Anarchy* (2014), *Sweetwater* (2013), the pilot episodes of *Riverdale* and *Young Sheldon*, *This Is Us* (2016–2022) and *American Crime Story* (2016). She received Emmy nominations for her work on *American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson* and *This Is Us*. She is also co-founder of the eco-fashion label Viridis Luxe.
