Hamilton Camp was a British-born actor and singer-songwriter, also credited early in his career as Robin Camp or Bob Camp. Born in London on 30 October 1934, he was evacuated to the United States as a child during the Second World War and began acting on stage and screen in the late 1940s.

In the early 1960s he achieved recognition as a folk musician, notably as half of the duo Gibson and Camp; their album *Live at the Gate of Horn* (1961) was influential, and he wrote the song "Pride of Man". He later returned to acting, appearing in films such as *Eating Raoul* (1982) as John Peck, and worked extensively as a character actor and voice artist in television and animation, including roles in *The Little Mermaid* (1989) and *Desperate Housewives* (2004). Camp died in Los Angeles on 2 October 2005.
