Harald Kloser is an Austrian film composer, producer and screenwriter. He was born on 9 July 1956 in Hard, Vorarlberg.

Kloser has been a frequent collaborator of director Roland Emmerich, composing the score for *The Day After Tomorrow* (2004) and for most of Emmerich's subsequent films, often working with Thomas Wander. His other composing credits include *AVP: Alien vs. Predator* (2004), *10,000 BC* (2008), *2012* (2009), *White House Down* (2013), *Independence Day: Resurgence* (2016), *Midway* (2019) and *Moonfall* (2022). He won BMI Film Music Awards for his work on *The Day After Tomorrow* and *AVP: Alien vs. Predator*.

Kloser has also produced and co-written several Emmerich projects, including *10,000 BC*, *2012* and *Moonfall*.
