## Biography

Harold D. Schuster (1902–1986) was an American film director and editor. He began his career as an actor before working as a film editor, including on the 1927 silent film *Sunrise*. He directed his first feature, *Wings of the Morning*, in 1937.

His other directorial credits include *My Friend Flicka* (1943), *Loophole* (1954) and *Dragoon Wells Massacre* (1957). From the 1950s he worked in television, directing episodes of series including *The Twilight Zone* (1962) and *Surfside 6* (1961).
