Harold G. Herthum (1929–1998) was an American actor from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He appeared in supporting roles in several feature films, including as the doctor in *Forrest Gump* (1994), the coroner in *JFK* (1991), the bartender in *Tin Cup* (1996) and Earl's crony in *Blaze* (1989).

Before acting, Herthum owned an insurance agency and a radio station. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He was married to Thelma Cowart Herthum and died in Baton Rouge.
