## Biography

Harry Caesar, also known as Little Caesar, was an American actor and R&B singer. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he began his recording career in the 1950s and had an R&B hit with "Goodbye Baby" in 1952. He later turned to acting, appearing in films and television from the late 1960s onwards.

His screen credits include *The Longest Yard* (1974) as Granville, *Emperor of the North* (1973) as Coaly, *Bird on a Wire* (1990) as Marvin Larson, and *A Few Good Men* (1992) as Luther. He also had guest roles in series such as *Hill Street Blues* and *L.A. Law*. Caesar was married to Marion Kane Bernot from 1970 until his death in Los Angeles County, California, on 12 June 1994.
