## Biography

Harry Hitner is a film editor. He began his career in the late 1980s as an assistant editor on titles including *A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master* (1988), *Without a Clue* (1988) and *The Rocketeer* (1991), later serving as associate editor on *White Fang* (1991). He progressed to editing live-action features such as *Honey, I Blew Up the Kid* (1992) and *Look Who's Talking Now!* (1993).

From the mid-2000s Hitner worked extensively on animated features, editing *Ice Age: The Meltdown* (2006), *Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs* (2009), *Rio* (2011), *Rio 2* (2014) and *Ferdinand* (2017). He also contributed additional story reel editing to *Robots* (2005). According to career records, he was employed as a freelance editor from 1987 to 2004, at Blue Sky Studios from 2004 until its closure in 2021, and subsequently at Animal Logic.
