## Biography

Harry Ruskin (1894–1969) was an American screenwriter and lyricist. He worked for several Hollywood studios over three decades, contributing screenplays, dialogue and stories to films from the early sound era onwards.

Ruskin co-wrote the screenplay for the 1946 film *The Postman Always Rings Twice*, directed by Tay Garnett and based on the novel by James M. Cain. For MGM he also contributed to entries in the Andy Hardy and Dr. Kildare series, among other credits between 1930 and 1958. He wrote the lyrics for the 1929 song "I May Be Wrong (but I Think You're Wonderful)".
