## Biography

Harry Werksman is an American television writer and producer. He received a story credit for the *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* episode 'The Reckoning' (1998) and wrote episodes of *Grey's Anatomy* (2005–2006). His other credits include writing and producing work on *Farscape*, *Earth: Final Conflict*, *The Invisible Man*, *Veritas: The Quest*, *Ugly Betty*, *Moonlight* and *Castle*.

Werksman began in science fiction, contributing to documentaries including *William Shatner's Star Trek Memories* (1995). He has received two Primetime Emmy nominations and won a Writers Guild of America Award for new series for *Grey's Anatomy* (2006). He has taught screenwriting at institutions including the American Film Institute.

He has collaborated frequently with writer and producer Gabrielle Stanton.
