## Biography

Haruka Abe (安部 春香) is a Japanese actress based in London. She was born on 8 January 1988 in Nerima, Tokyo, and grew up between Tokyo, London and New York. As a child she trained at the Gekidan Himawari drama school in Tokyo, and later graduated with a first-class BA in Acting from Rose Bruford College in London.

Abe has appeared in numerous British television series, including as Miko in *Ideal* (2007–2011), Tomoko in *Stath Lets Flats* (2018), Tippi in *Kiss Me First* (2018), Suzume in *Giri/Haji* (2019) and Aimi Ito in *Avenue 5* (2020). Her film credits include roles in *47 Ronin* (2013), *Cruella* (2021) and *Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins* (2021). She is also the speaking voice of Noodle for the virtual band Gorillaz and was an original cast member in the Royal Shakespeare Company production of *My Neighbour Totoro*.
