## Biography

Hayden Schlossberg is an American screenwriter, director and producer. Born on 9 June 1978 in Livingston, New Jersey, he is best known for his work on the series *Cobra Kai* (2018–2025), which he co-created with Jon Hurwitz and Josh Heald. He has also written and directed entries in the *Harold & Kumar* film series and co-directed *American Reunion* (2012).

Schlossberg met Hurwitz at Randolph High School and graduated from the University of Chicago in 2000. The pair sold their first screenplay, *Filthy*, while at university and later moved to Los Angeles, where they developed *Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle* (2004). Schlossberg and Hurwitz have frequently collaborated with Heald on subsequent projects.

On *Cobra Kai*, Schlossberg serves as co-creator, showrunner, writer, director and executive producer. He has also contributed to series such as *Obliterated* (2023) and the forthcoming *72 Hours* (2026).
