## Biography

Hébert Peck Jr. is a Haitian filmmaker and producer. Born in 1958 in Port-au-Prince, he has worked in public broadcasting, social-issue video and documentary filmmaking, including a long association with Velvet Film.

He co-produced the documentary *I Am Not Your Negro* (2016), directed by his brother Raoul Peck, which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. He also co-produced *Fatal Assistance* (2013) and produced the short video essay *Little Hébert* (1993).

Peck has produced series such as *Philadelphia Stories* for public television and has held roles at Rutgers University Television Network.
