## Biography

Heidi Swedberg is an American actress. She was born on 3 March 1966 in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in New Mexico, where she attended Sandia High School. After graduation she spent a year at the Actors Theatre of Louisville in Kentucky before making her screen debut in the 1989 film *In Country*.

She appeared in the films *Kindergarten Cop* (1990) and *Hot Shots!* (1991), and in guest roles on series including *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* and *ER*. Swedberg is best known for playing Susan Ross, the fiancée of George Costanza, in 28 episodes of the sitcom *Seinfeld* across seasons four, seven and nine. Other credits include *Galaxy Quest* (1999), *Bones* (2008) and *Wizards of Waverly Place* (2009).

Swedberg has not acted since 2010. She works as a musician and educator, playing and teaching the ukulele.
