Heidrun Schleef is a German screenwriter. Born in 1962 in Melle, Germany, she studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome and has worked primarily in Italian cinema.

She has collaborated with directors including Nanni Moretti, Mimmo Calopresti and Gabriele Muccino. Her credits include the screenplay for *The Son's Room* (2001), co-written with Moretti and Linda Ferri; *Remember Me, My Love* (2003); and *The Caiman* (2006). She has received two Nastro d'Argento awards for screenwriting.

Schleef also teaches screenwriting and has worked as a script doctor.
