## Biography

Hélène Arnal is a French film editor whose career spans several decades. She worked as an assistant editor from the mid-1950s before taking on full editing duties from the early 1960s onwards.

Arnal edited the animated science-fiction feature *Fantastic Planet* (1973), directed by René Laloux, and *Yol* (1982, also known as *The Road*), directed by Yılmaz Güney. Her other credits include *Voyage of Silence* (1967), *Les hors-la-loi* (1969) and *Gwen, the Book of Sand* (1985).
