## Biography

Henri Baum was a German-born French film producer and production manager. Born Heinz Egmont Baum on 10 August 1907 in Wiesbaden, he worked in the French film industry from the 1930s onwards, often in collaboration with his brother Ralph Baum.

He served as production manager on films including *The Earrings of Madame de...* (1953), *Diary of a Chambermaid* (1964) and *Belle de Jour* (1967). As a producer his credits include *Paris Nights* (1951), *L'oiseau de paradis* (1962) and *Faites vos jeux, mesdames* (1965).

Baum died on 28 February 1993 in Paris.
