Henri Serre was a French actor. He was born on 26 February 1931 in Sète, Hérault, and died on 9 October 2023 in Saint-Jean-du-Bruel, Aveyron.

Serre is best known for playing Jim in François Truffaut’s *Jules and Jim* (1962). He also appeared in *Le Combat dans l’île* (1962), *The Fire Within* (1963), *Fantomas vs. Scotland Yard* (1967), *Special Section* (1975) and *The French Revolution* (1989). He worked with directors including Louis Malle and Costa-Gavras, and had roles in television films and series such as *Moi, général de Gaulle* (1990).

He began his career performing in Parisian cabarets and also appeared in theatre.
