## Biography

Henry Adebonojo is a New York City-based cinematographer and photographer. He began working in film in 1985 as a production assistant and joined the camera department in 1988, later becoming a member of IATSE Local 600. His early work included commercials, music videos and documentaries.

Adebonojo has served as director of photography on several documentaries, including *I Am Not Your Negro* (2016), one of three credited cinematographers on the film. Other credits include *Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool* (2019), *Bill Traylor: Chasing Ghosts* (2019) and *Silver Dollar Road* (2023). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his work on the 2000 HBO documentary *Half Past Autumn: The Life and Works of Gordon Parks*.
